Open Book Daycare opens its doors to Canadian families in July 2016 to provide exceptional learning experiences for children in
an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters learning using the framework of How Does Learning Happen (HDLH) Ontario's
Pedagogy for the Early Years.
Geoffrey Taylor started Open Book Daycare Centre, a retired Revenue Canada Corporate Tax Auditor with Ms. Sandra Watson, a Pharmacy
Technician. Combined, they have over 35 years' experience serving clients in Peel and surrounding areas. They began this journey in
Childcare as they felt there was a need to provide exceptional customer service in Childcare to parents who wanted a safe and nurturing
environment for their children and so began a journey that created a Centre that accommodates 30 children from toddlers to preschoolers.
We offer children a nutritious menu daily following the recommendations from the Canada Food Guide.
Families living in Peel region who need help with the cost of licensed child care for their children (up to 12 years old) can apply
for a child care fee subsidy if they meet eligibility requirements. Please call this number if interested (905) 793-9200 or see the
link at the bottom of the page. Open Book Daycare is pleased to accept fee subsidy to care for toddlers and preschoolers.
